Didi or Meituan has its own shared bike service, which can be accessed via the WeiChat or Alipay APP directly.
Step 1: Look for a bike
Once you’ve tapped on the “Bike” tab at the top of the Didi’s screen menu, nearby available bikes will pop up, and you can directly tap on the “Scan to ride” button at the bottom to scan the QR Code of an available bike to unlock the bike and start riding.
Step 2: Bike journey ends
When you’ve finished using your bike, park the bike at the designated shared bike parking lots and lock the bike, and the bike trip fee will be automatically deducted via your APP. Remember not to park at no-parking zones since you will not be able to lock your bike and end the journey if you do so.
As you see, is not only an app for taxi-hailing; it offers a variety of services including shared bikes as well. Getting to know how to use can really make your transportation experience in China much easier than ever.
